That's pretty great, I may have to look into this card. I usually don't go for the big annual fee cards, but with the travel reimbursement that's not bad at all. I think my amex gives extra rewards for ubers but it's maybe an extra % or so.

Mad jelly of the CC rewards programs you guys have in the USA.

Sitting here with a poverty 2% travel rewards and priority pass membership on the BMO World Elite. Probably not a better value for money card in Canada though

it reimburses transportation until you have spent $300 for the year. So, yes, all.....until he has spent $300 on such trips.

Right so it is basically a card with a 150 dollar fee. Whether or not the card rewards is worth 150 to you is up to your usage and amount of travel.

It's one of the perks. I get the same on my Amex, lounge access, upgraded to gold status for rentals/hotels/airlines, etc - similar on that card. If you use the benefits... you'll get more than $450 worth of benefits out of the card.

Potato detected. I will actually get 600 out of it before I cancel it without paying the fee.

Also the upgrades at hotels, the priority pass lounge, the 100,000 ultimate rewards pts I have make it worth it.

I will cancel it and get another high fee card and transfer my UR.

I've considered doing this but there is a negative effect on your credit if you cancel CCs, specially if it's done within a year. I usually get airline CC's without fees, get their signup bonus (i.e. 30k points if you spend 3k in the first 2 month, etc.) then stop spending money on it within the year. Leave it open and sign up for another CC without a fee the next year and so on.

You can downgrade the CSR after one year if you are worried about the credit hit.

I have AMEX Business Platinum.

Most of their lounges suck.

Went to the Centurion in SFO and I was disgusted.

All the tables were dirty, only one bartender, and the only food they had was some ****ty pasta in white sauce. No meat, no nothing.

Only peasants enjoy the lounge anyway, since they can't afford to pay out of pocket for a private lounge or to wait an hour at a nice restaurant in the airport.

LOL, Paying for the privilege to use a credit card, and a Visa at that. Finance not even once.

The only card worth paying for is Amex, because their customer service is next to none. BRB Company A overcharged me! Amex rep: here let me cancel the transaction immediately, return the funds, and we will get it resolved for you. Thank you for using American Express.

VISA BRB: Company A overcharged me! Visa Rep: Ok we will put a hold on the transaction, we will need receipt proof they overcharge you, if the charge was indeed fradulent it will take 7-10 days to return the funds to your CC.

lol at you.
