Zyzz never inspired me and furthermore...
If I ever saw him acting the way he did IRL I would judge the fuk out of him for acting like a clown and giving those who take lifting seriously a bad rep.
I wish he was still alive so his schtick could have become tired and worn out and no one would try to emulate that level of *******ry.
I'm not salty, I just wish lifting culture would have taken a better turn over the last few years.

What's the difference between him vs all the other fitness celebrities? He kept things real, said it how it was, never played the fake natty card, and he didn't care what others thought. He was legend, doesn't have to have the best physique around. Just lol because all the fitness models nowadays try to sell supplements and do fake programs and such and lead people off the path of achieving their goals for $$. He didn't do **** for the money, he wanted to help people.

If Zyzz was the one who "inspired" you, you're probably too young and immature to look up to real role models rather than some nerd turned junkie, gym rat, who put on some self absorbed persona.
I have to question your judgment if that's the guy you'd say was an inspiration in your life, clearly you've never looked to the right places for inspiration.

I'm sure a lot of them got into lifting so that could take their shirt off in public/festivals, do drugs, and act like jackasses.
Simply getting people into lifting (as much as I love lifting) doesn't mean chit unless those kids were in it for the right reasons.
I'd rather inspire 1 kid to get into lifting for the right reasons than inspire a million kids to become Zyzz clones.

That's crazy OP because Zyzz never inspired me either and furthermore
If I ever saw him acting the way he did IRL I would judge the fuk out of him for acting like a clown and giving those who take lifting seriously a bad rep.
I wish he was still alive so his schtick could have become tired and worn out and no one would try to emulate that level of *******ry.
I'm not salty, I just wish lifting culture would have taken a better turn over the last few years

chill out OP
even Arnold said it doesn't matter what your motivation is (girls or whatever), you just need to have a goal + motivation to get there
life is too short to be spent hating on others, also u hating him is playing right into what he wants (one of his quotes directly addresses this)
srs, if u focus on enjoying ur life u should have no time to hate or concern urself with how others live their lives
and funny enough, haters are ppl who have deep-seated emotional issues that need to lash out their anger at others to feel better
also, it's fine if u want to take life more srsly but judging others for not doing so is quite lol
considering the fact we're literally organic blobs of cells trying to get our nuts off on a floating rock rotating around a hot massive cock, i mean star
p.s. I got into training long before I knew about Zyzz or even Arnold...actually I got into it for myself, prob few people started like this but something snapped one day and I got pissed by the challenges of life continuously beating me mentally down and started doing pushups

I just don't necessarily agree that getting into lifting is something that should be praised if your motivations are to act like a douche, in essence.
There's so many good and worthwhile reasons to get into lifting, I just could never imagine how all those great reasons were ignored, and the one that stuck was "I want to be like Zyzz."

Yea can't stand the whole douchey vibe and dgaf attitude taken too far into doucheville.
I did like the uplifting feeling of all the zyzz chit. Just not really him doing all that weird chit like going to raves in tiny shorts and shirtless, etc.
Maybe that's just me

I think, as been said before, "Zyzz" was an act to market himself. He himself said this...and it worked. Dude went from being a nobody to having thousands of followers. I think he did take lifting/dieting seriously, his goals just weren't to get as big as possible.
As for motivation, I'll take any form of it I can get, seeing that having no motivation is one of the worst ways to live your life. Also, motives change over time as one matures, especially when lifting. I think Zyzz's confidence and ability to not give a phuck was his life's biggest takeaway.

One guy didn't take chit seriously and lived life
The other is making threads about someone who passed away 5+ years ago hating on him
Who would you want to be?
