Middle East 'humanitarian catastrophe'

Syria? Nope, Yemen. Appears to be as bad or worse than Syria. It's getting little to no attention due to the Saudi's being a US ally, flying US purchased jets, etc. It's not difficult again to see why those in the region as well as Russia et al find it difficult to take criticism and condemnation from the US and allies over Syria when we don't apply the same to the to the Saudi's, who are also the major source of terrorism, both government backed and non. F-&% the Saudi's, we need to cut them lose like a bad habit, but we all know why that has not happened...

Yemen conflict: How bad is the humanitarian crisis?

More than 21 months of conflict have devastated Yemen, and left 18 million people in need of some kind of humanitarian assistance.
The country is experiencing a 'humanitarian catastrophe'

That was the frank assessment by a senior UN aid official back in August 2015, and one that was repeated by Emergency Relief Co-ordinator Stephen O'Brien in a statement to the UN Security Council on 31 October 2016.

The UN says more than 7,270 people - mostly civilians - have been killed and 38,280 others injured since the conflict between forces loyal to exiled President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi and those allied to the Houthi rebel movement escalated in March 2015.

Fighting on the ground and air strikes on rebel-held areas by a Saudi-led coalition backed by the US and UK have displaced more than three million people.

And seven million people do not know where their next meal might come from.

These threads always get moved to the RP section and get lost. Guess we need more room in regular misc for FA threads.

Nobody cares : People are literrally dying of starvation and yet you have those so called "humanitarians" pushing their political agenda on TV on Eastern Aleppo (just a part of a city) with no shiet given for Yemen ( a whole country).

But hey I guess Saudis murdering people, bombig marriages and mosques as well as starving people is okay as they're no Syrian nor Russian.

****ing state propaganda media of piss : Most of them are on the verge of bankuptcy in France but always bailed by our taxes to keep them afloat as nobody read or Watch them anymore.

I've been into some pretty heated debates regarding that with some fellow muslims friends and family crying about Aleppo or Palestine but not giving a flying fuark about Yemen, Ouighours in China or Rohingyas.

Well, what do you expect? That the US media will cover how they are terrorizing Middle East for decades with their sick Saudi and Israeli allies? No one is stupid enough to paint themselves in bad color. Don't worry, it will get covered the moment Russia comes close so they can pin it on them

Yemen like Ukraine and Syria is part of the frontline of the war going on between America,England,Saudi Arabia, Israel, Australia, Canada, New Zealand versus Russia, Iran, Syria, China. Turkey has factions on both sides.

We are literally going through a mini WW3.
