Last night drug shooting at a club I used to go.

Today prosecutor and others got shot at mall. Not even in the news yet. Only on twitter last hour. Cancun used to be safe.

Ahhh Tijuana the home of my friends and I at 19 doing weird things on revolution street. Too bad times have changed from the once famous donkey show and farmacia for gear that is mostly bunk and other goodies to now.

Surely staying on the right track of becoming a Brazil/Columbia 2.0 with everything that's happened the last few months..

Wish I had gone short on the Mexican Peso just after the American election. I'm sure there are still gains to be made betting against anything Mexico though

When was Cancun everreallysafe? Outside of all-inclusive resorts, I can remember there always being military presence on the beaches and chit breaking off--and that's going back 15 years.

yes that is how their police are. lol. It was safer then most US cities. I lived there.

The club security guards were the targets as they were 3 of the 5 killed. The chick from Denver was killed because the crowd stepped on her to death during the mayhem. Most likely the guards were not pay the piso, or tax, to the suppliers and they were dealt with. The PGR offices were shot up today as well and a narcobanner hung by the Z vieja escuela. El Fayo signed the banner and he was originally the plaza boss for Cancun back in 09 before being arrested. Prolly back out and reclaiming his territory.

It will get real if they keep messing around with the tourist areas. This is where Mexico makes their money and it has a ridiculously high profit margin. Tourism is in the top three cash sources for Mexico.
