"Men" take FBI fitness test


Girls and one woman take FBI fitness test


Cliffs:
- Both sexes take FBI fitness test
- Scoring system is slightly different for each sex
- Surprise, men's scoring system is slightly tougher

this is how military PT tests work. where i would get 20 pts for x amount push ups, she'll get 50 for the same amount. Anyone who has been in the military knows this.

Same thing in Denmark in the physical POLICE test where in several exercises a performance/number a woman did would get them TOP GRADE, whereas the equivalent would make the man FAIL the test

Ridiculous, but it's very true.

This is a bit of a tough one to judge. Is the minimum fitness test there because FBI agents actually need to be able to perform these physical feats on the regular? Or is the requirement merely that FBI agents maintain a more than average fitness level relative to society because they need to project an aura of professionalism and are sort of role models?

In other words, is a woman a worse FBI officer because she can't run as fast or restrain someone as effectively? I'm thinking it doesn't make such a big difference for a regular fed cop, but I don't know exactly what kind of interventions the average FBI agent makes. I suppose they have rapid response units and arrest teams where the physical aspect is more important.
