Any of you brahs quit video games?
Trying to quit video games cause I really think I do play too much. Any of you brahs quit playing and noticed a dramatic improvement on life?

Never fully quit but once I went to college, the amount of video games I played dropped dramatically. During breaks I'll play a little more than usual but during the school year, rarely.

I rarely play now and I feel a lot happier than when I used to play. Not playing games gives you time to do a lot of **** you wouldn't normally have time for (since you waste so many hours on games) and it just gets you at out of the house. More gym time, less lazyness, etc. Made me much for outgoing for sure and I definitely wished I limited my game time back in my little teen years.

Everything in moderation. If you're playing them everyday then that's a problem. You don't gotta quit, just find time for other stuff. Pick up a few books. I still have a PS4 that I play occasionally but it's usually in a social setting when vibing with friends.

the reason videogames are ****gy is because you literally achieve nothing with the time spent there, its all virtual and fake. atleast with a hobby like shooting hoops your real life skills improve

I use to play video games about 40-50 hours a week in HS and early college. Now it's probably closer to 20-25 hours. Don't think i will ever quit completely.

I've met so many scumbag gamers in my life so I stay away from gaming, the ones i've met have anger management problems or are general bullies, I try not to judge their past time but the bad guys always seem to be gamers.

I've thought about it but watching tv is boring to me most the time, miscing gets boring, my roommate just watches YouTube all day. What else should I do after lifting in my downtime?

Video games were my life from 7th grade to 9th grade and then I sort of tapered off and now I only play a little bit to kill time. In high school I began to have way more schoolwork and I got into working out.

Nope. Graphics and technology are just too good these days. Love playing PC and ps4 pro and taking advantage of the new graphics/audio and of course steam. I probably average 5-10 hours a week playing games so it isn't much at all

i used to be a basement dwelling wow nerd playing all day everyday (early teens). literally rolling out of bed then plop myself in the chair all day. except to go to the bathroom and eat really quick.
nowadays i cant really immerse myself in video games anymore. so i might play a couple hours on a weekend if a new game came out. also im not sure if its just the fact that games suck nowadays.

i quit video games like 6 years ago and replaced it with miscing. I think my life became worse.
I downloaded civ 5 and spent 4 minutes on it and the magic of games is no longer there. I'm more interested in what real life can do for me.

I've cut down on my gaming time drastically. I only play one game now -AoE: HDbecause it helps me relax when I'm stressed.
Not sure if that has helped, but I find myself on social media more often than before.

Been a few months since I've sold my PS4 and I can't say that I see much differences in my life. Time that I use to spend playing games are now just spent browsing the misc. I do workout more now though but I can't say that is directly cause of no more video games

I play games like GTAV, where I can have fun for 10 minutes and logoff. These days, I'm thinking to myself, what do I get from this? And that's enough to get me to put the controller down.
Games where you can pop in for a few minutes of fun, without having to spend so much time getting over the learning curve, and just jumping straight into the fun, regardless of how much you play, are the only games that I play these days.
