the reason there is traffic is because people are ****ty drivers, or douchy drivers.

ill vote for all manually driven cars to be done away with if it means i dont have to deal with traffic and i can sleep on my commutes.

its not just about people dying you ignoramus.

traffic is caused because there is human error in driving. not because there are too many cars on the road.

eliminating traffic would be unimaginably advantageous for big cities, not to mention would save a fuk ton of money.

What happens to a worker in a factory when his job can be done by a robot more efficiently/cheaper/safer? He gets replaced.

first of all there won't be speed limits, cars will most likely be going 80 mph as the norm because it is all automated on a network. You could have recreational cars that you can drive on a track or something, but on the roads where driverless cars are the norm it should be banned

Just because the technology exists does not mean everyone will buy it. I wouldn't buy a self driving car. If i don't want to drive i call a cab or make my gf drive me.
