Anyone here ever quit their ADHD medication cold turkey?

I told the doctor that I wanted to Taper down after Exams in June so I'm off my ******** 30mg XR for the summer. He's like what do u mean taper off it. You can just quit it cold turkey...

Is this actually a thing
Ive been taking this for 8 months daily non stop

Am I gonna die?
Anyone here ever done that?

Only took ******** for a month so I don't know if that counts. Screwed up my sleep so I threw the rest out

I quit cold turkey, took about two weeks to get out of my system completely. I was down in the dumps the first week, it was pretty rough but you'll make it OP

I took it for about a year in high school and hated it so I just stopped taking it one day

Don't remember any problems and I'm still alive
