Now i can see a lil fur around the burger but armpits/legs??? Just plain disgusting.

New research shows that choosing not to shave underarms and other areas is becoming more and more common, meaning it’s really not as ‘out-there’ as it was once considered to be.

Research by analysts Mintel suggests that there’s been a steady decline in millennial women choosing to get rid of hair from their legs and armpits.


Back in 2013, 95% of women between the ages of 16 to 24 shaved or waxed their underarms. By last year, this had dropped to 77%.

It's been a huge thing in the lesbian community for a long time and since I prefer shaved legs (just texturally) I find it kind of annoying too. Like... when men shave their faces we don't blame the patriarchy...

That said, I think it's obviously a personal choice and people should do what makes them comfortable.
