Girl in my class I've never spoken to asked me for notes. Didn't give them to her

Want to get misc opinion on this one. I always attend class and take photos of lecture with my ipad. After class ends yesterday, this random girl comes up to me out of nowhere and asks me If I could send her photos of the lecture. Keep in mind I have never spoken to this girl. My response was "are you unable to take photos yourself?". She said she wasn't here last Wednesday. I didn't say no or yes and I left after our lab without catching up with her. I have a long history of getting used by others (something I only recently stopped allowing) and I have no idea why someone I don't know or know nothing about is asking me to do something for her. I felt like I was in the right. Thoughts?

I would have sent them. Could have been a good way to network

i've actually already put my foot down a few times recently. and the networking the other poster mentioned would most likely be one sided (benefiting her only)

There's a difference between being used and being a good human being. It takes what, 5 seconds to send a pic?

Yes, you do. That's why you didn't give them to her. She said she was out last week but you have no idea if she actually was. If she was, then man, that sucks and yeah maybe help her out with the notes from that one day. However, she's clearly using you because you provide something of high value.

This. It's not networking if she offers nothing in return. Either use it as an in to try to get it in or tell her to phuck off.

GJ OP.

Regardless of gender I fukin hated that **** during University and in group work. Oh my lawd I almost saboutaged my work just to spite but had a calmer head after thinking it through.

Can't say the same for the pissening WKs who'd give her the notes regardless because she has a vag and would not do the same for dudes. Some are ITT already.

You did good OP.

I've seen women do this a lot. Goof off and skip class then pick what they considering an "easy target" to ask for their notes. If she was a friend, its different.

This would be applicable if brah took notes with pen and paper. He took a picture of a whiteboard. Chit isn't that srs. I understand not wanting to be used, but this chit was just a quick favor she was asking for.

This. She asked you for something related to class that isn't using you. She asked for a simple ****ing picture. If she asked you for money then that's using you OP. You are in the wrong.

I would've sent them to her, could've smashed her in future maybe or maybe not, at least used her to network.

I swear this is FA at its finest.

Edit: When I was in uni girls would always ask me for notes, I'd ask girls for notes that I never talked to before. Guess how many I banged/got with later on. Most of them. Who cares if she never said "hi" she asked for ****ing notes, not like she wanted you to buy her food and give her gas money lmao.

You are retarded, and have no idea what networking is... so to build a relationship with someone they have to offer you something in return immediately?

I've narrowed your quote down to the pertinent data.

You feel that way because you've been used, so you are predisposed to thinking that is their intent.
That's why I would say a more measured, less anti-social, response would have been to help her, but say no if she tries it a second time. She may have honestly needed a favor from a compassionate human being and you may have just been another stumbling block in her already sh*tty day.

As a network administrator I can confirm that sending notes to lazy uni ho is not networking.

Unless you send it in different packets of 8 letters at a time, with a parity bit written on the outside of the envelope.

No to build a network/relationship you have to talk to someone first. I guarantee if OP gave the girl the notes, he can now strike up a convo with her or she might strike one up with him, now the chance of that happening is like 5%.

In life you are always giving/getting something. Again OP wasn't giving her money or something that deems to be used, she asked for a PICTURE of notes he took. A ****ing picture, not like he wrote them down.

Again as I stated, I've gotten with many girls that asked me for a picture/copy of notes or vice versa. Just lmao that you think giving notes is something major.
