Advice to you young men from an old guy who married before social media era started
I'm 37 years old, and I married my wife in 2002. So for those of you who were still in elementary school during that time, let me explain what it was like to you: We met women in person. We had to be proficient with actually speaking to them and getting their attention through our words, actions, and actual appearance (not a filtered, angled photo on a dating site under perfect lighting).
We went out on a date, where we had to again make an impression. The other side of that coin is that so did she.
Why should you care? I just wanted to comment on this little dance that millennials often do where they meet on these dirty little dating/sex sites trying to get laid. Half the time you're just talking to a perverted dude, and that's a guarantee. You're sending a picture of your cock to a hairy dude whose pretending to be a girl. How does that make you feel?
Think about this: If you were a woman, would you want to be with/date somebody who texts out pictures of his dick? Likewise, why would you associate with a female so classless as to send nude pictures, whether through text or whatever messenger? I know it goes without saying, but if she'd send them to you online, she's sent them to a hundred dudes before, and no telling how many she's been with.
Why not show some class for yourself and expect some back. Be the kind of person who expects more from yourself and of your potential mate.
And don't tell me that all women are "sloots" or some other dumb coping mechanism you guys have come up with to explain your own inabilities to get with a proper woman. I promise you they exist and if you want one, you have to be the kind of person that she would want first. And a person skanking around on plenty of fish isn't that guy.

if i want to hire a programmer, i don't try to bump into one at the bar, i post a fukken ad
i've found GFs from OKCupid who had super low partner counts and legit jobs (lawyer-virgin, doctor-1 previous partner)
that being said, i'm completely done with online dating. if you are charismatic but not particularly good looking, online dating is soul-crushing

I was also married in 2002. However, I met my wife on an online dating site in 2000. I dated lots of women as a result of my profile on that site from 1998-2000. However, the women (at least the ones I made contact with) expected to be courted back then. None of them gave the impression it was for hook ups only.

Yes there are still 100% solid chicks out there, but there most certainly aren't enough out there for all good brahs to get/find one by being solid themselves. They are so fuking rare now days that you really do need to get lucky to find one and there is not enough to go around for everyone anymore.
