Well, at least someone young won it, and not some 80 year old grandma who'd just donate it all to some evangelical church. After taxes he'll still be left with about $280million.

So according to your logic, you'd rather pass up on $280 million dollars if it meant you had to be "cucked" to get it? You guys throw that word around so much its lost its meaning, but you better believe i'd do full on cuckholdry if it meant I woke up tomorrow morning with $280million in the bank.

All social media accounts, if I had any, would be deleted and you'd never see me in that city again. Facts.

Bitches that dissed you now love you.
Friends that weren't down with you suddenly want to be around you.
Family you haven't seen in years, better yet even heard of, now claim you.

Negative. I'm out. Get myself a lawyer, accountant, live under the radar and protect my money. It's about to get hot for this kid.

So true. Will likely be broke by the time he is 40. I heard the lottery ruins peoples lives more than it helps due to lost relationships.

He could have set up a blind trust and claimed the ticket under that. The only one who would need to show up and have his face on TV would be the trustee (usually an attorney).

Assuming he lives for another 60 years, that gives him an annual spending income of about $4.7million dollars per year for the rest of his life.

which is unnecessary...he could invest, build a huge income, and keep a **** ton for himself to spend. Dude could ball on just the income from investment.

How much more money does he need though? Most people will hardly break $2million of disposable income in their lifetime, and he has that amount multiple times over.

I mean, its literally over, he beat the game of life. There's nothing else for him to even do but enjoy himself.

The only thing that sucks for him is that he'll never get married to someone that loves him for who he is. It will always be about the money and when that happens marriages usually lead to divorce.

If he's smart, he'll take the lump sum. After taxes, he'll get about $180M. He can invest that and live off of interest/dividends for the rest of his life and never need to touch the principal.

If he's really smart, he cuts direct contact between himself and everyone other than close family. That way, if anyone wants to solicit him for money or an investment scheme or whatever else they can come up with, they have to officially go through his attorneys. The attorneys can be given instructions to give anyone soliciting money the run-around. That way, the winner doesn't have to deal with constantly saying no to old friends, acquaintances, and distant family. For close family, he can set up separate trusts for each of them and fund them ONE time with a donation. The trusts determine how much and how often the money can be paid out to those family members. Once that's done, the rule is they can never ask for anything from him again. It's up to them to use the money wisely. If his name/face is out there, I'd also consider hiring private security. Kidnappings and ransom demands are real worries in some places. In short, if he's smart, right now he is laying the groundwork on how to have a stress-free, worry-free life (w.r.t. money and friends/family). If he's an idiot, then he's probably thinking of how many Ferraris he can buy and how long his boat should be, etc.
