sloot thinks she can barter for free chit because she has social media influence. she's taking a vacation on V-day and wants to stay at a hotel for free:



savage hotel owner calls her out on social media:

if I let you stay here in return for a feature in your video, who is going to pay the staff who look after you?...Maybe I should tell my staff they will be featured in your video in lieu of receiving payment for work carried out while you’re in residence?

sloot plays victim after there's backlash against her entitled ass.

"I feel disgusting having to say this. As a 22-year-old girl, who's running her own business from her home, I don't feel like I did anything wrong," she said.

lol i do social media on the side, although i don't see the issue with bartering services for services as if you understood social media as an influencer you would understand what she was trying to do.

i think she had a poor approach to it. i've had many restaurants reach out to me, to eat free or pay me to shoot/post about their restaurant. i do not however, reach out to the restaurant to eat for free in exchange for my service.

If he didn't like it the correct response should have been I'm sorry but social media is not in our current marketing strategy at this time so politely decline your offer. However we would love to have you as a guest here in our hotel and I'll be glad to give you the best service possible.

Or if he liked the idea he could have just made a simple professional counter offer while I can't give you free accommodation I would be glad to exchange your services for a 30% discount off of our normal booking rates if you would like to discuss this further please let me know.

tbh the hotel owner must have some vendetta against comping people. The obvious benefit to taking this offer is added exposure for future bookings by connecting to a social media influencer.

I know someone who managed several hotels and he said this was a common thing. Either freebies or discounted rates.
