If your parents gave you horrible genetics should dislike them?

If they made you short, balding and dumb, just not the right combination for the world we live in now, would you just give up n say fuk it? I think about ‘this a lot.

Not dislike, but I definitely can understand some frustration. When like 16-17 I would sometimes get annoyed that because I am only 5’7 it’s the fault of my parents. Because my Dad is only 5’7 and my Mom smoked when she was pregnant with me. So I would blame them a bit. But I had to look at the other side of the coin. I’m above average looking, above average genetics for building muscle and strength, above average intelligence, I have good hair, good skin, green eyes, and so on, you know? Looking at the positives of what my parents gave me. For the people why got the chit end of the stick for everything. I can’t see how the couldn’t feel some sort of anger towards their parents. If they are 5’4, fat, bald, below average looking, stupid, weak, and so on. But most people have redeeming qualities and those are the qualities everyone should try to highlight.

I accepted my looks, height, anything you can't change a long time ago so I can't resent my parent's genes.

I do however wish my mother had chosen a better husband so I actually had a male role model as I grew up. Instead I grew up with 3 females influencing me (mum and two sisters).

So yeah don't dislike your parents for their genetics. People gonna procreate. But if either of your parents didn't act like parents and raise you accordingly, dislike the hell out of them and question the okay parent who actually raised you's choice of partner.

Wow lol we are similar I have 2 sisters, and was pretty much raised by my mom..My Dad was an alcoholic for a long time, but he's been sober for awhile now. When I first saw him since I was born... back in 2003 he was so drunk he kept asking me If I knew who he was. I was 15 at the time, and was thinking lol wtf is going on? Yea you're my dad? Then he would come back and ask again... He's come a long way...He's married now lol with 2 kids both boys lol thank god. Guy wasn't a good role model I wouldn't want any half-sisters.

Absolutely. I still have fully forgiven my parents for my short torso and long gibbon arms. A little selective breading too much to ask? And my gym workout would be over after two sets of bench press and a set of curls. Boom! Greek god status. No muss, no fuss.

If my parents would be ugly/wearing glasses + braces, being diabetics or with other diseases, short, fat, bald... I'd really hate them. I know a couple with mild/easy retard, every doctor told them not to procreate and now they have 2 kids same as them. Just why

I met this guy with a birth defect deformity. He managed to get a girlfriend but it didnt work out. But what struck me was what a nice guy he was and how the world would be a worse place if he wasnt around. Like If I knew he was gonna be my kid but he was going to have the birth defect Id go through with it anyway. Because hes a great guy with a positive attitude. He really changed how i see these situations.

And you here are op. No ones staring at your easily noticeable birth defect deformity. You got this chitty ass attitude. You suck at life which is not your parents fault, its 100% your fault. Someday youll wake up and realize youre just a bitch bro. Hopefully the light bulb will come on and youll change.
