Matt Damon and Ben Affleck to Add Inclusion Rider in All Future Producing Projects

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have revealed that they will support Inclusion Riders in all future projects.

The news comes from Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni, Head of Strategic Outreach at their joint production company Pearl Street Films.

Cox DiGiovanni put out a statement on Twitter on behalf of the company, noting that Damon and Affleck would be supporting the movement.

In her statement, she made note of Michael B. Jordan's adoption of Inclusion Riders for his own production company Outlier Society Productions.
The push for the acting community to support Inclusion Riders follows Frances McDormand's Best Actress winning speech at this year's Oscars.

Basically it's a stipulation Actors or Actresses can put into their contracts saying the cast must include necessary distribution of all genders and races (basically affirmative action for Hollywood now), for them to do the movie. So basically if you want to have the Matt Damon in your movie now, you must affirmative action the rest of your cast instead of choosing the actors you actually wanted for each roll or else Matt Damon won't do your movie.

I can bet you almost every movie from this year forward will have only women and minorities portrayed in all positions of power and badass action star positions.

This is bullchit. Absolute bullchit, you start down this road of giving handoffs just because of gender sexual orientation etc then you are hurting the talent pool.


Decades ago we established such a system in India : it's called reservation for socially lower castes in government institutions and universities. Although they had good intentions today we see rich kids who don't work hard and just get into premier institutes because their grand dad was from a lower castes or something.

This is horrible news. The east is learning and evolving where as the west is actually devolving.

Pretty sure Damon and Affleck are doing this to mask their own faults wrt metoo controversy. ****in pussies
