Why even lift?

I was at the gym today curling 12kg dumbells when some mass monster ******* came up next to me and picked up two 40kg's and started curling right next to me while flexing in the mirror on every rep. I felt so ashamed to be struggling with the 12kg's next to this magnificent hunk of a man (nohomo) that I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror. He kept looking over at me as I was working out too as if to assert his dominance in some way while smiling at me..I could feel the rage building up inside myself for being so weak, I kept thinking to myself if only I would of lifted for the last 5 years constantly maybe that could of been me standing there with pecs and arms like a greek god..just maybe.

Why even bother lifting when it's all about riding bikes and genetics?

Look op I use 25kg dumbells and it took me a month to reach that point. I just add more weight once I feel comfortable. Yes I also feel ashamed when someone uses bigger weights then me but I use them as a source of inspiration rather then as an excuse not to lift.
Keep lifting brah and you will get results.
Good luck

I like when people lift and instead of whining about gentics, referencing drug use, worrying about what others are doing instead of improving yourself and reach your goals and most importantly allows searching to a new excuse...that’s the best.

Idk honestly got addicted to the progress. I love seeing numbers go up. Love being on a cut and seeing abs start to show or new veins/cuts. Love bulking and gaining weight. Just love the feeling that I put it work and I see progress. Kinda sucks though as I'm still young and nowhere near my genetic potential. Not sure if ill still love it when everything slows down.

I use the bigger and stronger people in my gym as motivation to work harder.
I have always wanted to become a tampon. My dream is to be inserted into a woman's chamber of love and absorb her lady juices.

Just stay lean. Nobody cares if you are big because everyone is fat and bigger than lifters these days anyways.

Lifting isn’t about you verse them, it’s you verse you. It’s not about how much they can lift or the progress they make, it’s about how much you can lift and the progress you’re making. Just like life, it’s about making progress and bettering yourself every day, cause at the end of the day when you look in the mirror the only person looking back is yourself.

Lol no one cares if you’re lean either...you should care if it’s imprtant to you but in general...no one cares.

Just like no one cares once they see me rep 585, they don’t leave the gym going “you wanna get lunch? Yeah man but fuk, I can’t get over how lean that random guy at the gym was”.

Eod at this point is either the best troll or most delusional person on this thread. He said he peaked strength wise and can't even rep 225 for 2
