dude looked at my gf like 30 times when I went to the restaurant

Was sitting with gf and friends eating dinner and the table on the right was taken by 3 dudes, one of which kept throwing stares at my gf. at first i didnt notice but then she told me she was annoyed by it and started realizing he kept throwing glances, like every 30 secs of so for 30 mins straight.

I didnt want to adress it because I didnt want to ruin the dinner cause I think it would have ended with me raising my voice cause it kinda pissed me off. i looked at him every time he did and never made eye contact with me.

curious to see how relationship brahs would react; incels can skip replying ITT

should I have said something ? was it better to overlook it?

This has happened to me once when I was like 18 or 19 with my GF at a hookah bar. I just looked at the guy with a blank look/bert stare and he cut it out.

If that happened today I would probably do the same thing. No point in getting aggressive but the story would be different if I was a bit boozed as I would def be in hero mode

Saying something to him might make you appear insecure to your gf, even if you're not, and there's really nothing to benefit from saying anything. Best case scenario he kinda looks like a bish and you look kinda alpha but also a little douchey. Worst case scenario it escalates and now you're in a public place having a confrontation cause some guy was looking at your gf.

Two things here, usually works..

1. As you walk into the table area you have to be aware of your surroundings and make sure you sit with the view so you can see if anyone is checking her out. Plus you can react to things easier that way.

2. I usually change seats when she says its annoying. Then the dude ends up looking right into your eyes when he expects the girl.

Take them as you want, usually works for me. I tend to not confront anyone at a restaurant, too many people trying to enjoy their meals at a night out. If this was at a club or walking around a mall or w/e then that would be a different story. I think you handled it alright though.
