The amount of arrogance of some non-brits in London is astonishing. srs

Am eastern european doing some business in software with finance companies in London so been living there ~3 months and going to do 3 more or so.

I am amazed how a lot of immigrants just don't give a **** and blast their music, speak obnoxiously loud in their mother tongue and have no sense of respect for anyone around them everywhere they go.

Some poor british couple couldn't hear each other to have a small, politely quiet exchange of words because of all the arabic, spanish and "kurwa, kurwa" (stop making me look bad polish ****s), screaming and laughing going on. I actually don't remember the last time hearing any actual british speech before that...

I would never feel entitled for brits to actually have to adapt and embrace this **** rather than me being able to speak fluent english and behave like a normal person in social settings in accordance to the culture of the country I am in - good for me that I am reaping the benefits of making great impressions and building business relationships there because of that.

But just lmao - multi culti they said... it will be fun they said.

Whenever i go to Birmingham (second biggest city) i can count on one hand the amount of times i hear people speak English, srs.

There is a ton of ****lis in the part of USA I am in. They are 90% vile creatures. Very few adjust. Even the ones born here speak gibberish and yell every word.
I guess no different than hood rats really. But why bring them in? They send a large amount of there money back home and do nothing to forward our community.

Live in Luton myself, and a walk through town centre feels like a different country. Love a nice English accent, but those are rare in many parts in and around London.

Many don't care about the country that's providing them these opportunities, they form their own inner society, show disrespect to the home people, make no effort to blend in to the home culture and to top it all off the government has them protected more than anyone else and the media has a full blackout on anything negative.

Whats completely ****ed is, letting people express their criticisms is probably healthy. Shutting it down, suppressing it and calling people racists and nazis for bringing up valid criticisms is what leads to real issues.

I too live a major city in the UK (Bristol), and it's the exact same here.

The thing is, the majority of the population agree with you, but you wouldn't know it since everyone who has a voice in the popular media is a useful idiot and thinks diversity is a strength.

How on earth is Russia flourishing/growing in power

Why would people want to move to India to work and China was pretty much an inevitable superpower with their natural resources/population size/history.

OP I also think you're massively over exaggerating. Have lived and worked in London for years and this has never been something I've ever thought about. Plenty of English is spoken.

This is like your second/third thread complaining about London, it's probably not the best city for you if you already hate it this much

Russia would have always been on there so it's an absolutely mute point. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union they had financial issues, and they also had a financial crisis in the 90's, but once again, the recovery had absolutely nothing to do with them ignoring "equality" and "fairness". They have some of the biggest natural resources in the world and provide power/oil to a chit ton of europe

Countries like China and especially India flourish from sending their best and brightest abroad to work/study in places like the US/UK, and then reap the benefits when they return. The amount of Chinese students at most major UK universities is astounding. There are so many variables at play and them not caring about "quality" and "fairness" is not on there.

London is still easily one of the most successful and powerful cities in the world

Just wanted to make the point that correlating "not caring about equality and fairness" with flourishing/growing power is absurd. London is as powerful/successful as it is because of immigration. I've met seniors from multiple FTSE 100's and maybe just less than half would be from somewhere other than the UK
