As a business, taking a side (outspokenly) on political issues is always a losing proposition. At best you virtue signal to half your consumers who maybe buy your products more in the short-term before the novelty wears off, and at worst you lose half your customers.

It's a bold move Cotton, let's see if it pays off.

Ben & Jerrys has been political since they first started selling ice cream. Anyone who knows the company history is aware these dudes are HUGE liberal hippies from Vermont. A couple family members of mine have been boycotting them since the Bush administration for this very reason. I could t give a fuk less though. The GOAT ice cream. Feed me some Cherry Garcia any day of the week cuz.
