After playing Hitman(game) I wonder what it's like to be a professional hitman.

Like a top tier hitman, how good are they? Can they be good instead of having evil intent? Is it pointless even doing an investigation on them? Not saying I want to become a hitman, but with a proper background and knowledge, seems like you can make a lot of people disappear. Though the higher you go up, the harder your target is to kill and bigger the investigation.

I also wonder about their life style, like when walking around do they see us normal folks as plebs. Would be neat to get into the mind of an accurate killing machine.

In the hitman game I was the good guy and did good things. Why have anxiety and guilt taking out slum lords and terrorist? Hnnnnng Dream job. I'm on the FBI side, if anything I should be scared of the cartel capturing me. FUK THAT

Sometimes I think I should be CIA or mercenary. srs.

Im sure its exactly like the game where theres nothing suspicious about a bald guy with a barcode on the back of his head. and 5 people die in freak accidents, all within 30 minutes.

Not feasible to do while maintaining your anonymity. These days it's just too difficult to get customers and you can't advertise. In other words, the only way to do it is to be part of a larger criminal enterprise which brings a bunch of other problems with it. Add in constant cameras everywhere...people arent really doing this anymore.

Pretty sure it still happens constant cameras is going to stop anything imo if you want someone dead enough and have the power and money to make it happen. We probably just don't hear about it. And a lot of places in the world don't have modern technology. Hitmen are probably one of those things that happen but we just don't hear about it.

Probably two types.

Professional - it is just a job - mentality don't see targets as people just price tags - conditioned to not feel emotion.

Seedy-thug - sociopath - enjoy it - why not make money from it?

You'd get caught. Anyone who wants someone dead enough to pay someone to kill them would have a connection to the deceased that would turn up in a murder investigation. They'd get snagged. And it wouldn't be hard to link you to them. Even if your getting paid in Bitcoin or cash you had to have an initial contact and that person had to discover your services somewhere.

Assuming your actually getting paid your not murdering some homeless guy or joe thug in the hood. There will be along term investigation that won't just go away.

In the Hitman game universe, cellphone cameras and CCTV dont exist. Big bald guy walks among huge crowds and is never caught on anyones camera and no one ever puts 2 and 2 together.

It's a game OP. Shooting IRL isn't as easy as COD either didnt you know?
