Back before the internet was invented, there wasn't such a term as 'incel'.

There were no dedicated forums or reddit subs where like-minded neckbeards and geeks could lament and whine amongst themselves.

No support system whatsoever.

Incels had to suck it up and accept they weren't gonna make it. They had to quietly accept a life of celibacy and crushing loneliness.

They knew from a very early age that "chad" was simply someone who is not them. Everyone else gets laid except him. He accepted it.

The sheer stoic majesty of the incel of yesterday should never be forgotten.

Very true indeed. The incels of yesteryears accepted the fact that he was an intel and actively pursued something else bet it sports, literature, scientific research, etc and made a name for himself. He managed to get back at Chad later in his life and at the same time contribute to society.

Today's incels are a far cry from that.

Yes and No. People were just more reasonable with dating standards. The nerdy girl dated the nerdy guy. The fat chick dated another fat guy, or a really skinny guy. The jock dated the female jock, or "Stacey", and the "tweeners" either found a way to date up, or dated other "tweeners". Now i'm not saying limit yourself, but today a lot of people have a very unrealistic approach to dating. If you're a 6, it's nothing wrong with dating a 6.

Theres a lot that goes into this. Women dont have to settle anymore. They can get sex from men out their league easily and they dont need a provider until they want kids which is happening later in life.

Society is designed now to allow women to ignore a large portion of lower tier men. And then blame the men for it.
