Why are there hardly any new members?

Is it because the forums aren't accessible through bodyspace anymore?

Where are all the young guys looking for lifting advice going? All my newbie questions about lifting would lead me to this site, and it's what eventually sucked me into the misc.

Is it because forums in general are old school?

Is the fitness fad actually dying out? Now that I think about it, I haven't heard anything about crossfit in a hot minute.

lifting was a bluepilled fad, so you had a bunch of incels flocking to bodybuilding thinking it will get them fresh hole everywhere they went. They literally managed to make lifting uncool.

Then after the atomic black pill has been dropped, incels realized that moneymaxxing, personalitymaxxing, hobbymaxxing, careermaxxing, physiquemaxxing, etc. were all copes and all that ever mattered in a man to a woman were face and height. All other things has always been been nice but very optional.

So now you have a bunch of disillusioned gymcels and the fad is dying

In Misc it seems like every new member is red before they hit 50 posts. Most are probably alt accounts for the banned.

In the other forums, it's not always newb friendly. They all ask the same questions and people get tired of telling them to lose weight, invest in quality gear, follow established programs, and read the fukking stickies.

Yeah now that I think about it, its actually youtube that's probably killed this. So many informative videos where each YouTuber tried to one up each other, so they're all science backed where they link studies and make it real nice and pretty. They also do QAs and chit like that. Beats going on a forum where you'll get negged or told to read the sticky

A lot of people who went to my college hit the gym. They just worked arms. Everyone was small and they all did/said weird things. One friend brought a protein jar with him and mixed it right after in the locker room. He said he had to take it right away or his muscles would shrink.

I never thought about YouTube, but it makes sense. Nobody wants to read anymore. You can barely find a full page of text online without having to click on slides to read everything. This blows.
