'Emotional Support' dog attacks 5yo at Airport....

Mother of 5-year-old girl whose face was mauled by emotional support at an Oregon Airport is suing the pet's owner for $1m

-Girl sustained cuts to her face from a pit bull she was petting at boarding gate
-Woman and daughter were flying from Portland to Texas with their family
-Lawsuit is against the owner as well as Alaska Airlines and Port of Portland

Pic of girl:
Spoiler!

mother has launched a lawsuit against the owner of an 'emotional support animal' after it allegedly attacked and mauled her daughter.

Mirna Gonzalez is claiming $1.1 million for her daughter Gabriella Gonzalez in medical costs as well as the child's 'pain and suffering'.

The incident at Portland International Airport in Oregon started when the girl petted a pit bull, which then bit her causing 'serious injuries'.

Filed in Multnomah County on Monday, the suit claims dog owner Michelle Brannan 'should have known the animal had vicious propensities', and that Alaska Airlines should not have allowed the dog in the gate waiting area.

The attack took place on December 18, 2017 as Gabriella Gonzalez was waiting at Gate C7 with her family for a flight to Texas, according to court documents.

Brannan is then believed to have arrived with her pitbull that was not confined to a kennel.

came in expecting a certain dog breed

just fuking lol

I will say this...as tempting as it is to pet someone's dog, you shouldn't. The dog may perceive it as an attack.

emotional support animals are basically normal pets that someone wrote a note for, nothing close to a service dog

Homeboy is gonna need even more emotional support when they euthanize his dog.

But good luck getting 1.1 million from a dog owner. If he has a homeowners insurance she might be able to get a few thousand though depending on if the dog is covered.

This^^ plus It's a way passengers get around the crate n checked fees at the airport which was always the normal way pets typically had to travel. Now other passengers have to endure the barking/biting/schitting/pissing on board.

It takes one form to register ANY animal as an emotional support animal. Nothing else.

If the animal has not had actual training, it can not be allowed in situations like this.

Second, why the chit did the mom let her daughter pet the damn thing?

Everyone is retarded in this BS.

I think yinz missing the point here. What if, God forbid, the Pitbull were to latch onto the engine of the plane? Or the Wing? Nevermind some random little kid...that plane will effectively be out of commission killing everyone on board. Once thos jaws lock they won't be able to simply 'shake' em off during flight. The fuker is on there for the duration like a guided missile with but one mission. To choke the very life out of anything it latches onto..including planes. You don't reason with a Pit Bull. It is walking dynamite ready to fuk your life up.

Most homeowners policies come with 100k in liability insurance. The company I worked for explicitly excluded pit bulls. Like you had to ask if they owned a pit bull before you sold the policy and if they did you had to get an underwriter waiver to give them the policy.

not that i know of, pretty sure if you hit one you'd be lucky to not lose control of your car and the babies stick to where they're born for a while. All they really do is float around tanning in the sun and eating, chill. as. fck.
