Is life too hard for men these days? (Srs)

- Harder to get women due to equality, feminism, social media, online dating etc
- Easier to develop isolation due to porn, video games and the internet.
- Estrogenic products/quality of food destroying tesosterone
- Harder to gain employment in entry level positions/companies
- High divorce rates / difficulty developing and sustaining a family

Is there any point in being a man anymore?

imagine having such a basic/non-existent knowledge of history that you think THIS is the hardest time.

The high divorce stat is just funny, "high divorce rates", implying that nuclear families in the 50's were all smiles. The divorce rates are higher now because its socially acceptable to divorce and not shunned upon nowadays, as opposed to being forced in a **** or abusiveness relationship

Life is always hardest for weak men
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Your grandfathers slaved away in factories and busted up this land you call America knowing that they wouldn’t even live to see the fruits of their efforts. Knowing you probably wouldn’t acknowledge their sacrifice.

Guys are just pissed off because they can't get laid, other than that life is way better now than in the 18th century, and before, when life expectancy was like 35 for men

not only that but land was cheap. Growing up in the 70s and 80s you could drive from your house anywhere and party in the canyons.

now everyone is fighting for a fuken 1bdrm apartment

worst thing boomers had was Vietnam and still a LOT of people got out of the draft

Life is hard for everyone nowadays. Women are finding it difficult to settle on one man due to temptation (mainly as a result of temptation from technology and from more females working with men)+financial pressure, and men are finding it hard to keep women due to financial pressure and the hypergamy enabling aspects of technology along with the increased risk of them meeting a man at work. Depression and suicide rates are skyrocketing, and people are becoming very jaded.

Let's be real though, when chit hits the fan and we are killing and eating each other, it's gonna pay off to be a man. It will be easier for you to hunt your prey. Be thankful.

>- Easier to develop isolation due to porn, video gamers and the internet.
You could argue that this actually makes life easier as it enables people to satiate otherwise distracting desires. Porn, entertainment and fantasy give men exactly what they need to be happy whereas traditional lifestyle may not.

Consider war based video games. Many men who aren't soldiers have the instinct to fight and compete. These games give them an avenue to live out this fantasy over and over, in many different ways without hurting themselves or anyone else.

Porn is similar. It gives men the opportunity to live out very specific, personalized sexual fantasies without the risk of contracting strange, life ruining diseases from sloots or spending a lot of money on hookers.
>- Harder to get women due to equality, feminism, social media, online dating etc
Maybe, but you could argue that this goes both ways. As a person who doesn't use social media or online dating, I can attest to the reality that life is entirely possible without these things.
>- Estrogenic products/quality of food destroying tesosterone
On the other hand you could argue that easy access to knowledge (the internet) and recent studies make it easier than ever to avoid environmental toxins. Whereas your parents and grandparents were exposed to all kinds of damaging things like asbestos and lead paint, destroying their lungs, killing their braincells and ruining their sexual function, these things have been mostly eliminated from our day to day lives.

You can find out what foods/packaging contain xenoestrogens and find ways to avoid them. A luxury that is very modern and only recently possible.
>- Harder to gain employment in entry level positions/companies
While it may be harder to find work in existing industries, you could argue that the ever growing global marketplace is creating new opportunities for young people all around the globe. Just look at how many people are able to make a living as entertainers on the internet (professional games and whatnot), careers that didn't exist before.

A machine that makes nails may have rendered the blacksmith's occupation redundant but the ease of availability of nails created opportunities for new laborers to actually make things with these nails.
>- High divorce rates / difficulty developing and sustaining a family
Just because somebody else gets divorced doesn't mean you have to. Idiots do stupid things all the time. Marry someone who isn't an idiot and you won't have to worry about the problems of idiot relationships.
