Suicidophobia is a social stigma that must be broken down. Suicide is a “my body, my choice” decision no different than transgenderism and abortion which are now socially normal.

It doesn’t matter if one’s decision to commit suicide effects the mental health of their family members, and has socioeconomic consequences on ones family and community. So does abortion and transgenderism and those are both socially acceptable practices.

We need to STOP treating suicidal thoughts and actions with medicine and therapy, and incarceration/detainment. Doing so is akin to treating gays and transgenders with electroconvulsive therapy and lobotomies which is no longer socially acceptable.

We need public funding to assist with suicide, like public funds made available for abortions. We need to STOP mourning suicides because it was their body and their choice.

This is why I’m starting the Suicide Acceptance Initiative. I expect many transgender and feminist members and donations to my foundation because our values and mission statements align so closely: “our bodies, OUR CHOICES” and “taxpayers CAN’T choose”
