Got the cheap misc version of creed and got exposed

I'm not a big perfume guy myself but I was like what ever I will give it a try.
One of the perfume threads a miscer posted a link to some other perfume that smelled just like creed, I got on Amazon and bought it.
Went out clubbing last night, standing next to the bar started talking to a fairly attractive Sloot (she had dudes around her all night) she goes omg I love your perfume is it creed. I said maybe it is maybe it's not and smirked. Convo went on she goes theres just something about it that's doesnt smell like the real thing. Tried to play it off cool and said yes it's a fake I got it at dollar general . 2 more sentences and she takes off.

Brb driving to Nordstrom tomorrow to get the real thing and see what the hype is all about

ended up smashing some other chick though.

Doubt the actual story happened. Most will tell you the DNA is pretty identical. Creed just performs better, so unless she was on ya all night.

If you can’t afford mid 200$’s cologne, no. Get what OP got.

If you CAN, and want to get a creed one, I like Silver Mountain Water, then Virgin Island Water better

Adventus is nice, but there are so many to chose from in the fragrance world. Check the cologne thread here. **** it, anytime you’re at the mall, hit a department store and sample. Note the stuff you like. Go from there. Creed would be in higher end department stores. Not Macys

Most people will get compliments on it, but not everyone does. I like it, but I personally don't think it is worth $300 - $400 as no one ever said anything to me. I do have a bottle of Himalaya though that I like. I would say go to a Creed counter if you have any nearby, and try out a bunch of the different bottles for men. Decide which ones you like best, and ask for a sample of them.

If women like you, they will pretty much like anything you wear though. Bleu de Chanel is popular with the ladies too, I believe.

Creed makes some great stuff, I've only worn my aventus 4 or 5 times, something in it gives me a headache. Plenty of great houses to explore, parfums de marly, amouage, Tom Ford, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and some others as well. From creed I prefer Green Irish Tweed. It's just a very casual clean green earthy fragrance with a touch of sophistication and class, some people say it smells like cool water but it doesn't to me. You ask if it's worth it I say yes. I didn't care for Club De Nuit...The smell is somewhat close to Creed Aventus, but it definitely has that cheap smell lower end colognes have
