Most mainstream rappers promote drug use, alcohol consumption, objectification of woman, and ego inflation. These are all degenerative behaviors.

It isn't happening by accident. It is a structured and concerted effort by the power structure. Most people generally follow and believe what they are told by the mainstream media. Easy access to internet/smart phones. Proliferation of black/hiphop/nihilistic gangster culture. Breakdown of the family structure through extreme liberalist/feminist agendas. A concerted effort by the mainstream media outlets (including major websites) to promote degeneracy through all mediums, and a general feeling of hopelessness.

this. i believe they call it "club hop" now, i.e. instead of writing poetry about struggles and reciting them with beats for background, it's a studio produced generic song bragging about how much money , drugs, sex, etc. they have. which makes me lmfao because the studio owns all of it.


to stay on topic:
- the eddie bravo in me says society got dumbed down to make them more malleable for the labor force. if you open any kind of business and decide to have a hiring event, interview like 200 people for one job. yes, 200 will show up and they will be so thirsty and stupid that you can make them do anything for any amount of money, if you make the hiring pool large enough. how do you do it? instead of secretary, title it "data processing creator", and don't make it about the salary; instead, add a cool mural on your office wall they can take a picture by for the 'gram.

I actually Like rap, Good rap, not garbage mainstream rap. Akala is a good start.

Edit: Society is a lot more sexualized as a whole since Britney Spears. All we care about now is sex and drugs. Those who aren't getting any of either are masking up and beating people in the streets.

I'd say that promoting psychedelics and marijuana is considerably less destructive to society than promoting murder, misogyny, materialism and hardcore drug use. Drake is far from a Disney kid, he promotes all of these things as well. The only thing that I can say bad about J Cole is that he also promotes and does songs with rappers who follow the degeneracy mold, even though he is actually a positive force from what I have heard (although he ate the leftist blue pill). You should remember that there was a time when hip hop had a message and there were positive rappers, those days are long gone. Plus, who on here said that the Grateful Dead wasn't degenerate as well?
