How do you perceive men with ugly wives?



I'm talking successful men with average to above average looks that could easily get a 7+/10 but yet they are with someone objectively ugly (fat, 3/10 face etc)...

Do you guys have more respect for them cause it shows they're not shallow? For example I would rather die alone than be with a sub 7/10 wife srs, i'm also an arsehole so these things might be connected..

Or is there something wrong with their brain? How can someone get hard with someone like in that Curb video?

Honestly would think less of them. What's wrong they can't do better?

Don't see a problem.

A guy who is with a physically less than ideal partner seems like a sign of integrity because either she was cuter when they got together and he has stayed with her, or he values substance over appearance. Caveat: might not feel that straight about it if his SO is wealthy/famous.

OTOH a guy who is with a woman that is physically attractive, but a trashy low class female, or one that treats him like crap? That raises questions.

But do you think there is something wrong with the chemicals in their brain? Because we are not designed to be sexually attracted to old looking, fat women. This is going to sound mean as fuk, but there is a girl that worked in my old office and she is only like 30 but is fat, short, has no tits or ass somehow even though she's fat, and a face full of pimples. She is married and has a kid, I am delighted that she is happy in her life but always wonder how the fuk a man can get hard with someone like her.. I wonder not in a malicious way but in curious way, like for scientific purposes..

I think as you get older or if you're unattractive your standards will drop.

Not to mention everyone ages, espesh after having kids. For the most part, ridiculous looking women are fukd in the head. The hottest girls Ive dated have been absolute headcases. My girl now is quite hot, but physically to other people I think people think a couple of my exes were better looking. Truth is, I don't really care because she treats me amazingly and we have a lot of chemistry. Regardless, time will take them all and they'll all become unattractive. To each his own. I have had a couple of relatively serious relationships with girls far less attractive than me, and honestly it’s just depressing. The entire time I just felt like I was missing out, that I should be doing better, even though both were great people and made a lot of effort.

I don’t think I have ever met anyone I’m more attracted to than my current gf, and everyone who’s met her says she’s insanely hot, before we got together guys we knew would always be telling me they would do anything to smash her. We are not in the easiest of situations, it can be tough sometimes, but I feel like I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing and not wasting my time- and at least some of that is probably down to looks.

They must be looking beyond looks to other qualities of personality that will stand the test of time. Look at these celebrities who marry each other in a rush as they are "in love" and get divorced a year later, if they are especially successful.

I would only be alarmed if the man was a muscular, wealthy, educated 6'2" chad and married some fat, hobbit-like women with deformities, no education, ugly as sin. Usually there is a line though.
