Misc help me reply to the note my neighbor left on my door.

Backstory:

-Ho moves in upstairs
-Ho throws a party first night (fuking Tuesday night)
-Ho has two gigantic dogs that are loud af ALL day long
-One of the dogs howls non stop
-The other one barks and runs around knocking **** over, while also scratching on the doors and walls
-Make complaint to management
-1 week later make another complaint because nothing has changed.
-Came home to this gem on my door
-OP loves dogs but the noise is UNREAL

We've passed each other a few times. Also, I'm not sure a smash would be a good trade off for this sloot to feel like she has free reign to let her dogs continue to be

That note makes it look like she acknowledges the problem but there isn't a lot she's able to do with two dogs left home alone all day in her upstairs apartment. She should live on the lower floor, not upstairs. And, if the floors are hard, there isn't much she can do about all the nails on floor noises the dogs will make.

I agree with the poster who said you need to leave this up to the landlord and keep complaining. The dogs won't suddenly age 10 years and become lethargic and quiet. The solution is to move downstairs with the dogs, if there is a ground floor apartment available.

I mean, you got to give her credit for trying but this is the most autistic response to anything I’ve ever heard. I mean chit, hard to think exactly what she can do about this short of leaving or getting rid of the dogs but... same time does anyone else get the vibe like she’s trying to sleep with op for the sake of him shutting his mouth about the dogs? If I was opie I’d just respond in kind that you’ll happily accept her bribes but to tell her that you’re still going to complain to management until something gets done because this space has become unlivable for you.

If she takes the dogs on a run and feeds them afterwards and tell them to take a nap, then go to work. The dogs will be exhausted and not bark as much.
But if the dogs wake up from a long sleep, get hyper in the morning and then have her leave the apartment, they'll be anxious and barking non stop.
