Usually means the man is tired of all the dramas that go with girls who get by on their looks alone.

The best thing you could ever do as an attractive man (means good job, finances in check, good face, good body and >= 6 foot tall) is to find a beautiful girl (pretty even without makeup) who has excellent skin, a great body, nice full hair, excellent personality and a high VO2 Max.

This is the outcome for a tier 1 male.

1) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'd think that just because I think they're unattractive, doesn't mean that the dude does. IE some people prefer whales, or conversely prefer dating twigs. Then you've got skin tone preferences, age preferences, height preferences, even hair color and hair length preferences, etc.

2) Disregarding #1, her personality might be a neat fit for him. She might support or even participate in his hobbies, her family might be supportive, etc.

3) She might have a solid income and have similar goals of early retirement or adventures, be on the same page about finances and life things (kids, marriage, etc.).

This but I understand women better than most of you. Typically the guy is nice to the point of being weak. You can be a kind, good person without being taken advantage of or manipulated. I have met numerous lopsided couples where the woman is unattractive and the guy is classically handsome. In many of them the guy was gay but wanted a “normal” life with wife and kids. And thats fine i havent had to make that decision. I havent had parents that openly hate gays and are religious nuts instead of the good kind that believe its all about love. But lets not pretend theres no reason. Theres always a reason when you see someone attractive with someone unattractive. Hell ive met guys that were drug dealers, butt ugly, with stripper girlfriends. Theres always a reason.
