Probably a bs article, can't find the original, but the study is valid. If something like hand sanitizer and hand washing can change people's attitude, then just think how things must have been when diseases were practically unopposed. When humanity faced its darkest moments.

Demoralization takes a backseat to survival, and the pandemic is a common enemy.
