Logical fallacy of BLM. Reps to BLMers who can answer this

I talked to a group of white liberal protestors earlier up the street my apartment and am facinated by their logic. As a second generation Spanish/Jew, I could say I am an opressed class. The narrative goes like this



Libtard - "blacks are opressed and experience racism more than other minorities, you wouldn't know unless you're black"

Me - "aside from the anecdotal instances of potential racism, can you point to any specific laws or examples of racism"

Libtard - "Blacks IN GENERAL face far more racism than any other minority group.

Me - "Blacks IN GENERAL have higher rates of violent crime against themselves and the general public, which creates a whole other set of issues.

Before I have a chance to continue..

Libtard - "that's RACIST, you're RACIST, leave us alone racist!

Me - lol okay guys enjoy standing out in the heat, holding signs shouting


Are they are too ignorant to understand that the issues plauging the black community (high crime rates, domestic violence, drugs, poverty) AKA "opression" lies WITHIN the black community itself, not from people outside?

Furthermore, Im all for helping the black community address the issues they are facing and work towards betterment, but blaming other races and shouting out racism does nothing for their plight.


Genuinely baffled by the illogic of grown adults.

What's the question?

Having high levels of crime doesn't nullify the fact that blacks experience high levels of racism. Both of those things are part of their culture in America.

The high level of crime probably contributes a fair amount towards racism against blacks.

It always cracks me up when another white person tries to pull the "you wouldn't know since you aren't black" thing, but somehow they as a non black person does know.

redlining laws which targeted blacks to not be able to get loans to keep them in impoverished areas

my question is if you're saying people from predominantly black neighbourhoods were deemed undesirable to receive mortgage loans regardless of income, why would people in similar incomes in non red neighbourhoods not be equally discriminated against if their equity is equal?

It's easy to sit back and say these liberals are stupid and ignorant, and you wouldn't be entirely wrong. But... I can understand their viewpoint.

It's incomprehensible to believe a community would be so toxic and self destructive. It honestly makes more sense that some big bad boogeyman is manipulating and causing the vast issues that plague the black community. The racism, violence, and drugs are nothing compared to what anyone who tries to better themselves will experience.

Isn't it easier to believe "the system" is holding people back than their own family, friends, and neighbors? Over something so petty as needing everyone else to fail too.

Too ignorant, biased, and they don't care. I came into the thread intending to potentially defend the BLMers thinking their logical fallacy was something that could be explained away, only to find out their logic actually was incredibly obtuse. Just saying it's racist to bring up statistics is disingenuous. At least some people try to explain the statistics away.

I believe there are some things were systemic racism againstminoritiesis apparent in the law.

For example, why is it that you need to have a higher amount of ******* to be crime and a very little amount of crack? The latter gets stiffer legal punishments than the former. The former is the drug of choice of rich, white people who often get away with a slap on the wrist for possession while the latter can be found in poor neighborhoods mostly used by minorities.

It's that kind of systemic racism that is bothersome.
