Why are so many men i meet now days politically correct and corny?

Go to work and these dudes are always using corny lines like "Happy Friday's eve" or sucking up to the nearest female. Also notice whenever a somewhat attractive girl is near there will be one or two guys come out of nowhere and start flirting or asking how they are. Happens every time. It's usually older guys though. Barely see any younger guys talking to girls. Every guy i know is simping for females or acting PC which is corny as hell.
