Why is being gay now seen as cool?

I dont understand it. I have a buddy who is dating a 19 year old fat sjw dyed hair type chick, and she is constantly bragging about all her gay friends and how all her guy friends keep dating girls who turn out to be trannys.

Back in my day in high school it wasnt like we were lynching gays, but it sure as fuk was not seen as cool to be gay or bi or whatever 100 sexual preferences you have now.

Idk everyone these days is gay or has colored hair or likes harry potter and sucks up to women. I have some theories on it but they never get any traction.

Was at college right outside where all the classrooms are (im 24, took 2 years off, these kids were like 20-22), walk up to my cousin talking to like 2 other dudes.
