Anyone ever have Candida?

Been dealing with this off and on for years now, but been serious for the last three. Just found out it was Candida last week (self diagnosed). It has practically ruined my life in the past few years. Been to the doc and gastro a few times, neither of them ever mentioned Candida. Just got shrugged off as "general" IBS and was told to keep working on it. Hopefully with a few dietary changes I can get past this in a week or two.

If you've had it, how did you get rid of it? Currently going no sugar, no starch, mega doses of probiotics, and coconut oil.
