ITT we list things that are worse than getting a deep cleaning from a dentist.

I'm assuming going to war, and losing a leg due to stepping on a landmine would definitely be worse. Other than that i'm not too sure.

- brb numbing agent injected into the front and back of the most sensitive areas of your gum line.
- brb everything going fine, feeling no pain then a lightning shot of pain where the numbing agent didn't quiiiiiiite reach.
- brb another injection into the gumline so you don't feel that pain.
- brb okay everything is fine, all you feel is awkward pressure but still the sensation of water that's cold af being shot into every part of your teeth.
- brb dentist constantly asking "did that hurt" when you have 3 objects jammed in your mouth.
- brb what would you like to watch on tv? BITCH eat a dick and just get this over with.
- brb dentist getting annoyed that you're pulling away and not relaxing when over the last hour you've felt no less than 6 sharp blasts of pain at random from numbing agent not working

if there's one suggestion i would advise is just have the dentist do a quick "123" count for gumline injections of the numbing agent. That way you can exhale on 3. Makes a world of difference. Bitch I had was just stabbing and injecting away at her leisure, never was so tempted to jab a woman.

Now I will say if you find a good dentist that hires experienced dental hygienist (the ones that end up doing your routine cleanings most of the time anyways) then its not AS terrible... but still sucks. I have been using the same broad now for like 6 years and dont completely dread going.

I go like every two years and I hate it. Every time they tell me how good my teeth look and how good care I take of my gums. And they still spend 15 minutes fukking my mouth up for a “cleaning.”
Horny.

Never had a cavity before crew checking in.

Feelsgoodman.

I honestly think dental health is 98% genetic because when I was in middle school I literally went months without ever brushing my teeth. Dead srs. I was a dirty child with little parental supervision. Still never had any problems whatsoever.

Trust me, after this i'm going to be a tooth hygiene nazi. Prior to this I haven't been to a dentist in literally a decade. I had this coming.

- Removal of bandage strings from nostrils days after nose surgery.
- Ear canal vacuuming if you got something stuck there ( like hardened wax ).

Don't know these procedures hurt more or less on the absolute pain scale but they feel like someone is pulling out your brain and will bring tears to your eyes and make you squeeze your fists until your nails cut your skin.

loooooool i just had a tooth extracted for an implant and he's like "you're gonna feel a little pressure" and suddenly he's full weight leaning into my skull with a pick or something, i think he was trying to loosen the stuff around the roots to make it easier to pull

thankfully i was numbed up real good but i think "a little pressure" was the understatement of a lifetime

I currently use the picks, but have read that they may be bad cuz they pick up bacteria from one crevice and bring them to another, spreading the bacteria around. Your dentist friends ever mention anything about that?

My dentist was super professional and nice, deep cleaning was great except for the numbness afterwards.

i mean yeah its getting bacteria on it but it's disrupting the colonies so they can't keep freely reproducing. technically you should be flossing first too so you disrupt them, then the toothpaste, brushing and mouthwash can finish them off

I'd say trying to use a cactus as a fleshlight and/or dildo would be slightly worse, but not by much.

Dry sockets are worse than a deep cleaning. After I got my wisdom teeth out they told me not to spit, smoke or use a straw for 2 weeks. I was hopelessly addicted to nicotine so I smoked anyway and wound up with a dry socket. Chit hurt bad

I was gonna ask the same thing. It just dawned on me that people can have ultra chitty teeth that are so sensitive/painful that they need numbing just for a cleaning.

I'm in the process of getting an implant. Did the root canal years ago yet the tooth cracked in half last December.

The extraction of that tooth was far worse. My wisdom teeth removals have been so bad I still have two more to do but won't. Takes ages to recover.

For me, extractions are by far the worst.
