Any idea why YouTube freezes views on new videos?

I posted a video earlier today. Some of you may have seen it.. Anyways the ticker has been stuck at 206 views for like 5 hours. I know its been viewed since then because I've had people mention watching it to me. Any idea why they freeze the views at random numbers?
