I got a "job offer"

I'm currently working as a security coordinator/supervisor, my job is basically keeping work instruction up to date, making working schedules for different teams, do some invoicing and keep our paying clients happy with our services.

I got a job offer inside my company where they will assign me to one specific customer (for a year) where I'll be the SPOC for the client and the security supervisor on site to review all work instructions of a nuclear plant.

Pro's:
- I get pulled away from my current "job" which means I won't have to worry about people calling in sick, no daily bs about colleagues who act like immature kents
- Just one big client to worry about in a total new (interesting) environment instead of the different clients I'm working for now
- Better office hours & closer to home

Con's:
- Same pay
- Unsure of what will happen after that year
- Nuclear plants have very specific guidelines, bit scared that if I phuk up I'm gonna have a very unsatisfied client, and it won't look good on me and the security company I work for

Currently not liking, nor disliking my job. I'm fine with what I got now. However if I bring this project to a good end it might open doors.

Any miscers been in situations like this before?

My position inside the company wouldn't change, but in terms of job responsibilities it does feel like a step down. Nuclear security sounds very interesting but it's so different from what I'm doing now that it scares off a little. I arranged a meeting the 27th of July to go more in depth of what I'm supposed to do there, should be interesting. Thank you for your input!
