I need to lose as much FAT as possible in 6 WEEKS!! ((HALP))

So quarantine fooked me over. Have never been this fat in my life - 215lbs 20+% BF. Going back to work in 6 weeks, so need to cut hard.

I would like to maintain muscle, so don't wanna do anything too drastic, but the priority is losing fat.

1) Best way to do it?

2) How much fat/weight/BF could I lose in 6 weeks?

feel depressed as fuk!

Then just run a ~750 calorie deficit, go keto if you want but I prefer low fat/high carb for dem energy levels and dat der strength maintenance. You'll be down ~10# in 6 weeks without losing much if any muscle if you are training as well.

Eat less + Cycling (either bicycle or gear works).

Cycling burns more calories than running, you can easily burn 1500+ calories a day if you have dedication

It's way harder than most people realise to actually lose muscle mass, so as long as you're lifting and eating high protein you're pretty much gonna be good. With that being said If I was in your shoes I'd honestly consider a pretty steep defecit since you're only gonna be in/out in in 6 weeks and you're starting off at 20% bf (if accurate).

I don't know your maintenance or what your activity levels are like so its hard to give you specific advice but the main point stands, track your cals, macros and average activity levels and go as low cal as you can whilst still maintaining gym performance.

Why do people say running? Been running ~20 miles a week and I haven’t had a ton of fat loss. Not dieting either but I’m eating around the same as what I have been before.

If I was doing this during a cut I’d be miserable.

For how many weeks? Also if you're relatively cut already its gonna take alot to go down more. You will need to diet. This advice is generally for someone who gained a belly... Aka is fat.. And wants to drop fat.
