My autoimmune disease may finally be reversing! Baldcel growing hair again

So it's not a lot yet but I'm starting to get little white hairs that are getting longer and longer. Eventually they should turn black but that may take a bit. I'm also getting facial hair again to the point I had to shave and now I may have to shave in a few days again.

Hopefully my eyebrows and eyelashes start growing back soon. It may take awhile but it's a good sign that my body is healing.

Nice dude, hope it progressively gets better and better. I've had the white ones in some spots for about 9 years now. Have you been doing anything differently to help it come back?

Yeah at first it was just a few but now they are growing in number and some are even getting longer. Hopefully these little vellus hairs mature. I completely changed my diet. I do a keto diet and I completely eliminated gluten. My digestive system has been amazing now. I don't **** 10+ times a day and I don't fart anywhere close to as much as I did. I honestly believe that healing my gut has helped with autoimmune issues.

Wow, so how did this come about? When did you notice something was wrong? How long were you on keto for before change?

Yeah I'm very grateful to maybe get my hair back but honestly it's weird because I was getting used to it.

Good job in healing regardless

Had my best post areata gains on Keto but it didn't come all the way back and still comes and goes. Maybe I'll try some K2 also.

After losing all hair from areata

Hmm yours was pretty black. Mine seems pretty widespread compared to yours. Have you ever checked your d3 levels. Many autoimmune issues can be cured/re-missed by supplementing with high doses of d3. Doing some research many diseases are seen with low levels of d3 and that was the case for me.

Ya know, at that time I was also laying in the sun like a half hour every day so vit d was ok there, but in the 2nd pic my blood panel revealed low d. So I started on 5000 vitamin d a day recently in addition to the biotin and floucinonide. I also shaved the sides desperately trying to balance it out to make it look like there's more on top lmao.

Not sure what your auto immune condition is or was. But a few years ago I had a spell of alopecia where I had 2 or 3 circles pop up in my beard and one big one on the side of my head where hair completely stopped growing.

A couple of months prior to this I went through a very traumatic / stressful situation that caused me to lose a lot of sleep and worry.

Not sure if that had anything to do with the onset of it but the timing seemed funny. Anyway about six months later the hair came back and has been normal since.
