Had my resting metabolic rate tested.

Gonna go on a cut soon, so I decided to have my RMR tested.

It's basically this,

And these were my results.

Anyone ever done this, if so, how accurate was this for you?

I'm thinking that the RMR is closer to my maintenance, as I eat about 4-5k calories a day and I stay at the weight I'm at pretty consistently.

For my cut I'm gonna do 3k calories a day and 500 cals worth of cardio a day. If the RMR test was correct, I should lose 10lbs of body fat in about 3 weeks.

My wife had the same test, and her RMR was about 1600 cals.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Maybe, I'll test it out for a few weeks, and we'll see how it goes.
