People like suvs, people like convertibles, people like to pretend they're outdoorsy, people like to customize their ride to reflect their lack of personality. The wrangler ticks all those boxes

I bought mine for fishing and hunting and it's one of the few vehicles that could get me through the woods roads.

But I also bought it as salvage and rebuilt it and did all the repairs myself, unlike the homos and fat chicks that get the huge mudders and lift kits on at the shop and drive it to the mall.

Also lol at the 4 door wranglers and the new wrangler truck

Idk either. They ride like chit, slow as fuk, tiny interior and really aren't that great offroad without modification. Srs my wife's stock 4runner will wheel right next to a stock wrangler all day long, but also has room for the car seat and groceries.
Disclaimer
I did build a jeep xj to the point it was useless for driving on road so ive been on that side also. Brb xj on 35”s, locked, no sway bars etc.. it was fun to build and was a helluva wheeler but id never do it again. Fukkin money pit.

Edit. Forgot
I know a guy that has a “anniversary” edition rubicon. Moron srsly treats it like its a Lambo or something. Dude thinks its “rare and valuable”. Lmao.

I don't get it either, considering their towing power is pretty bad.

Gf and I share one as our weekend vehicle. It was more fun with the top off when it was nice out... But it's like 90 every day and I'd rather drive around in the air conditioning of my brand new subaru.

I had a fully built out Nissan xterra and it ****s all over my jeep tbh.

I agree I wouldn't spend $50-60k on a Wrangler I don't need. But I do like Jeeps. If they weren't so expensive for what you get, and the mileage wasn't so horrid, I'd get one.

I drive a Renegade, which is the 'baby jeep' - but nice comfortable interior, 4x4 so it does whatever off-roading I need for camping and such - and it gets decent mpg. Alf half the price of a Wrangler.
