how I've been improving my bench

I know it's still poverty. but seemed like the more effort I put into my bench it maintained or regressed over time. I used to do PPLx2 rotating an intensity and rep day with a couple other compounds and 2-3 isolations. I found out that was a lot more than I'm able to recover from. no I do a 5x3 intensity day with a few sets of dips and then a rep day 3x10 bench followed by incline DB press and a triceps iso. cut total volume back and am hiting my working sets with 30 more pounds on the bar over a 3-4 month time. like I said, my bench is poverty but 30 pound improvement on 3x10 and 5x3 is a lot.
