What kind of HDMI switch would I need for this (reps)

I'd like to have a switch set up so I can go from using my computer monitor to using the TV as the monitor.

The only switches that I see have to sources going in, and the one HDMI coming out.

The problem there is I would have to take wire out of computer monitor and plug it into switch every time, which defeats the purpose.


I know the audio equivalent of what I'm looking for is called a patch bay, but no idea what it would be called for visual signals.

Not sure if that exists, but you can just leave an HDMI cable in a slot you aren't using and switch to the computer when needed.

you need an HDMI switch for that
