He caught discipline off this encounter.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Could be better, I'm getting removed from my specialized unit (Motor Officer) I've had trouble handling myself on the bike all day in 100+ temperatures. My anxiety caused me a few issues and I was so disoriented from the heat a few weeks ago I had to get a ride home.

Kinda sucks cause that's what I really wanted to do with my career, but I'm being sent back to Patrol FML.

Mixed feelings about that. Cop was a55hole maxing, but so was kid. Still let him go even though he could have written him up.

It was only a few isolated incidents but I ride around with all my gear on and any long distances my heart rate spikes and I get all panicked, I think it's the heat getting to me more than anything. Really sucks. Maybe I'll try to re-test in a few years if they'll let me. I had to pace myself a lot and be careful about how much time I spent outside cause I just couldn't handle riding around in the extreme heat all day on the bike.

Commuting sure I can tough it out, riding around the entire city for 10 hours, standing on scene, having all that gear on. It was pretty rough on me personally. Actually a motor on swing shift went to the hospital two days ago for heat illness srs.
