LOL if you have a “secret” recipe

I was at a coworkers house today for a work soirée. He made burgers as one dish. They were honestly fuking delicious. Some of the best Ive ever had.

I asked him the recipe and he said "Ooo sorry, bro. Secret recipe." I chuckled and said but no really tell me. He said I'm serious its a secret. I looked dumbfounded at him and he just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry bro.

I tried to snoop around his kitchen for cookbooks but couldn't find anything. Cant believe he is denying me good burgers so he can act like he has some fuking treasure map locked away in his mind. Its selfish if you stop and think about it.

Here's the secret:

And if your burgers didn't look like that, prepare to have your mind blown when you make these.

Invite the co-worker over for these and when he asks "Woah how did you make that?", tell him...

Exactly.

Best poster on the misc.

Even if a troll, so believable and funny. Basically the target spot for internet trolling. This is a real life situation and honestly I have no answer.

LOL. I had a childhood friend who acted like a douche like that with his Grandmothers secret recipe ice cream topping.

It was good, but I didn't really care about the secret recipe, but he kept acting like I must have wanted it and that he wouldn't ever tell and being a dik about it, then his sister came in and blurted out that it was their Grandmothers recipe to heat peanut butter and ordinary pancake syrup in a sauce pan and he got all mad at her.

I have a Cuban friend whose grandmother makes some incredible flan. He told me one time that a lot of females (mothers, grandmothers, wives) ask her what her recipe is and she always laughs and refuses to tell them. He then tells me that she once told him that her “secret ingredient” would disgust people and so she will never reveal it.

What a *******. If he was making a living selling gourmet burgers I could totally understand the secrecy, but this is pure autism.

When I BBQ or otherwise cook something and someone asks how I made it I'm happy to tell them, I see no point in keeping it a secret if I'm not making money off it.

I personally don't blame him for not sharing with you, OP.

In fact, I would call him my brother and buy him a few rounds of his favorite drink.
