Srs question. With corona on the rise in every state would you take your 5 yr old to
Creek to swim around a bunch of people?
Debating this with my gf and telling her the reward is not worth the risk and potentional for harm to her son.
Hes 5 and has a small heart condition as it is and if he caught this it would not be good.
Sure you can catch it anywhere but. This too me is a silly risk to take not just with health but possibly life if this is attracted.
A o year old girl in florida died of corona today.

The 5 year old has far greater odds of dying in the creek via drowning or from a car accident as part of the trip than the coronavirus. On top of that all research points to outdoor transmission being ridiculously low. If this is a bad idea then literally letting him leave the house to go ANYWHERE would be a bad idea.
So all in all stop giving into the panic lmao

I'd be more concerned about a infection from swimming in brackish water with a heart condition.

All that has been said so far is most likely true except for the part of kids being immune to it. Deatsh have alresdy occured to children from corona.
Perhaps its just being a bit over protective i dont know. Just seems like a potential huge risk just to flop around in a dirty creek for an hr

Kids are basically immune to it. We are talking 99.999%+ survival rate at the age below 20. If you have a **** ton of health issues then yea you're out of luck but any other minor infection could also do you in, and the primary danger of such a trip would not be the coronavirus

The best idea would probably be to get your test levels checked ya fukin *******. Its one thing to avoid crowded indoor shopping areas because your kid has a pre-existing condition, but not taking him to the least likely place to get infected because you watch too much CNN. Jesus fuk this society has definitely already fallen.

97.5% of covid-19 deaths are over the age of 45.
Kids get it, but it's not very lethal for them.

With a heart condition? No. Comorbidities are probably more important than age.
Any way to go swimming but have better ability to distance? Maybe go in the morning and leave when it gets busier

I heard its just like a minor cold. At the least he may get lung damage that might cause problems but who cares? Live, laugh, love.
At the worst he gets it and infects others in your family and people might die, but like I said live laugh love breh!

We've been running our kids around where we can. The risk to children is nil.

Tagged SRS but this can't be SRS can it?
LOL at people who sit at home and do nothing during these times. You can't just be a hermit out of fear unless you are old or have health conditions.
Go have fun, being outside and vitamin D will help you and your kid. Just as much mental as it is physical. I'm on the river 4-5 days a week.

feel like most of the miscers ITT definitely did not read the "heart condition" part
Then again, echoing most miscers ITT, I'd be more fearful of your boy drinking the creek water than getting the rona.

Isn't your girlfriend pregnant? Seems needlessly risky.
