Which is the most impressive? 4 plate bench, 5 plate squat or 2 plate overhead press?

4 plate bench press (405 lbs)
5 plate squats
or 2 plate standing overhead presses

Which one would be the most impressive?

Have you seen any of those lifts in real life with those numbers?

I have not

They are all very impressive. However if someone is benching 4 plates a side then they should be overhead pressing 2 plates. They should compliment each other.

Once the jaw locks.

And 4 plate bench by a mile. How is this even questionable?

most people suck at bench and squat. 4 plate bench is harder but I only know one guy in my gym that squats 5 plates

at my gym:

4 plate benchers: 2
5 plate squat: 1
2 plate OHP (no leg drive): ~5

I’ve only done the squat and OHP.

Man must be a strong gym

At my gym theres none of them
theres only like 2-3 3 plate benchers
and two 4 plate squaters
heaviest OHP was like 90kg so 10kg away from 2 plates. I am in australia so our numbers are a bit different

having trained in powerlifting gyms for about 5 years, a 5 plate squat was fairly common place. A 4 plate bench was extremely rare.
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I think the 4 plate bench is most impressive, but I've never actually seen someone strict OHP 2 plates in person.

Seen several 4 plate benches when I used to go to a serious gym, plenty of 5 plate squats there and at Gold's, but I've never seen anyone actually do a 2 plate OHP. Still think the bench is harder and more impressive, but the OHP seems much more rare.

If a person can bench 4 plates, they can easily do a 2 plate OHP unless some weird injury or freakish deformity prevents it
i've seen a decent amount of strong benchers unable to even lift their arms overhead because they don't take care of their shoulder mobility. lot of those guys could probably press 2 plates at a steep incline but not strict standing ohp

dunno, i've seen guys throw around 4 plate benches but can barely squat, i feel like if you're squatting 5 plates legit to depth you're probably someone who takes lifting very seriously and probably have a 3-4 plate bench in the pocket anyway. i'd call that more impressive than some geared up guido bouncing 4 plates off his chest

100% a 4 plate bench. That's something you just won't see in most gyms. Squatting 5 plates is an easy goal for most people, and a 2 plate OHP is attainable by most as long as you don't have shoulder mobility issues

Even at PL gyms, 4 plates is pretty rare

I remember at Dan Green's gym there were maybe 5-6 guys who could bench over 4 plates? And you're talking one of the premier PLing gyms

5 and 6 plate squats/deadlifts were very common though

2 plate would be insane. you would need 24 inch shoulders for sure

thats insanely impressive and strong. What makes it so much more special is how he looks. On first glance most miscers would assume he doesn't even lift, when in reality he can outlift most of the biggest of us

Have done all 3 and it's OHP and it's not even close

2 plate OHP with 0 leg drive is extremely rare.

And most people aren't training shoulders the way they train chest. All chest movements are gonna have carryover to bench. If you focus on laterals or rear delts your gonna see a dip in ohp weights
