Machine Shoulder Press instead Barbell Shoulder Press
I'm wondering if by switching to machine shoulder press will I miss out on something by not doing barbell shoulder press and the reason I wondering about switching was cuz I feel my shoulders get worked a lot better by doing the machine shoulder press instead of a barbell

In my experience you always do when giving up the free weight movement and going exclusively machine.

Machines have their place as accessory tools. You can better ISO the muscles and work on raw pushing/pressing but you cant typically use stabilizing muscles like you would on barbell or DB lifts (you can sometimes find a unicorn machine that is aone-ofbut most gyms buy their machines in big packages and generally, about 1/4 of them are POS', outdated and the entire design needs to be scrapped). On the barbell lift, you dont have to compensate for any sagittal motion since your hands are locked on the bar. but when you switch to the DBs, sagittal plane motion occurs (but note that the entire lift does not occur on the sagittal plane).
From a kcal/MET rate expenditure perspective, you burn/expend less with the machine and the most with DBs. You CAN expend more using the barbell because it allows you to overload the muscle(s) in a way you typically cant do with DBs. Since you arent compensating for both frontal and sagittal plane motion, you have that extra energy to put toward moving the weight (the same principle can be applied to Bench press- machine vs Dbs vs barbell BP). But for the most kcal expenditure, standing DB press is the most engaging
Edit: You can target your obliques by doing standing unilateral (one DB at a time. other hand is free) DB OHP but you have to keep your obliques engaged and your shoulders level the entire set
