To me this video is so much more than a slot getting thrown out the plane unwillingly.

You can see that until the very last moment she wasnt afraid, it takes just a split second for that fear and doubt to kick in, take over you, control you and what you do in that split second, what direction you choose, what path you take, what decision you make will have such a big impact on you and it will change you in a lot of ways. You can either choose the path of fear, doubt and regret for the rest of your life or choose the path of, i do not really know a good word for this, its more like a feeling of accomplishment combined with confidence and "raw" and live the life at its fullest, not necessarily a happy and accomplished life but at least you will know you did your best and got the best deal you could get out of it.

There is also the fact that she got pushed out. So she let the fear and doubt dictate her actions but the fact that she got pushed out it shut down those feelings right before they could get a chance to flourish. I can bet that if she didn't get pushed out right then and someone tried to talk her trough it she would have never jumped.

Some times we need someone to push us and help us grow stronger by forcefully making us make the right decision, even if that decision might be very hard.

Also I would like to add, once you keep making those right split moment decisions and be able to cut down those fears and doubts right at the base before they take control of you, you will learn to do this automatically and it will get easier and easier. It might be a hard and long road, you will definitely fail a lot of times, most likely because the fear or doubt you are trying to conquer is too big for you at this moment, you are trying to climb two - three steps at once but with time, and experiences that gap will get smaller and smaller until you will be able to climb to the next step.


I believe it is very important to teach our kids this very important lesson at a VERY early age and try to push them higher and higher because if they learn now when they get older it will be a walk in the park.

I also think the army is one of the best things you can do to get into that mentality and because it is not obligatory that is why men today are not the same as the men in the past.

Everything wrong with society now is because good men are too afraid. Too afraid of being shamed. Too afraid of telling a girl they're attracted to them. Too afraid of speaking the truth. Too afraid of losing a "good job" so you can keep slaving away.

Grab life by the balls. When you feel fear, face it and don't run away from it. That's the purpose of life. To follow your heart with fortitude.

Its weird because everybody talks about all these stuff, grab life by the balls, face your fears, and other IG quotes that are out there but those are just words until you actually experience them on your own, only then you will be able to understand them.
